Beautiful Split in Croatia. We decided to stay and walk around. Glad we did. Visited the palace for 45 Kuna each then walked through the market and old town. Popped in a little restaurant and had a glass of wine, beer and apple juice for £8 wow! ...

Use a hop off hop on bus here. Lots to see. Amazing beach to swim in with clear waters. Great shopping and make sure you climb the Bell Tower. I would go back to Split! ...

The Dolcetian Palace was impressive. The basement is interesting but not worth the 14 kunas per person they charge for it. The public beaches nearby are good to refresh but they do not compare to the ones in Dubrovnik ...
