We disembarked in Singapore at 8:15am and the immigration procedure went very smoothly. It was a 600 metre walk to the SMRT Marina Bay South station. I checked our EziLink card from last year and we still had $6.90 to spend. I think when we arrived back later in the day we still had about $2.50 left for another time! We went to Little India first but didn't think much of it so hopped back on the ...

Went by train to Clarke Quay and had lunch on the riverfront. Took the cable car to Sentosa Island and had a look around. The trains in Singapore are inexpensive and efficient. It’s so easy to get around. ...

Our cruise ended in Singapore and this saved the best til last. We loved every minute of it. Extremely clean city, people friendly and helpful, public transport amazing. We visited Singapore Zoo, Marina Bay Gardens, Sentosa Island, Chinatown, Little India and loved everything. We went everywhere on public transport which is extremely easy, especially with a travel card. A must do city. ...

Gardens on the Bay nightly sound and light show at the Super Grove was fantastic. Lasting approximately 15 minutes it was a feast of colour. We stayed at Marina Bay Sands so a quick swim in the infinity pool and breakfast at Spago on the Sky Deck was fantastic. Shop, shop, shop - bring that empty credit card with you .... so much to see and do in Singapore. Great place for a short stay or stop ...

We had 2 days pre cruise. We would have stayed longer. We had a plan to fit in as much as we could. Big Red Bus to see the city & orientate us. Lunch at Spago on the 57th floor of the Marina bay Hotel. Look around the Singapore Gardens then cocktails on the rooftop at the National gallery where there are 2 bars. We tried both, Smoke & Mirrors is the cocktail bar & Aura is a restaurant plus ...
