I have made a my own tour 10 Eur in a very nice open small bus. The tour was good, but there is not a real center of the town, where to walk and shop. The shopping exterience was poor and limited, price being exagerated. Waliking is a litle bit hard, due to many slopes, but I made a special mention for the excellent "artigianale" ice-cream. ...
Cagliari is not a very exciting place but the cathedral and its crypt are worth a visit. There are plenty of steps and hills to climb in the old town and it is quite a climb up to the cathedral but entry is free.

We took the combination tour right outside the port gates. The cost was 15€ for the city tour and then transfer to Poetto Beach. Great town to explore on foot. You do need to climb some steps or uphill roads to make the most out of it. Super view on the harbor and city that way. We rented bikes to go to the beach. Easy does it, great beach as well ...
