You dock blocks away from Old San Juan. Walgreens and CVS right off the pier is great to restock sunblock and other personal items - for shoppers Coach had a 70% off sail - and the restaurants and bars are plentiful -Raices restaurant was just okay in my opinion but within 4 blocks of the ship - take the walk to Branching for a better dining experience. I am not happy that San Juan with all to ...

Skip Starbucks and find a local cafe once you're in port and try the coffee from Puerto Rico -- it's amazing! Old San Juan is very easy to walk. The forts are also easy to walk to, and less expensive to purchase a ticket to tour it yourself versus booking an excursion through the cruise line. Shopping was mostly the same souvenirs and trinkets at every gift shop, but I did find 2 shops that ...

HOWEVER, I know personally many friends with family just outside the port area that still need assistance. Power is still down in those areas and debris clean up is needed before the next storm hits. I walked the cobble streets of OLD SAN ...
