Stayed near the port at Sheraton Convention Center. Hotel clean but rooms need new mattresses and none of the furniture at the pool area had the cushions and they were the large wicker chairs and couches so that was a joke. The sail into port is stunning in San Juan, and we enjoyed watching the dolphins next to the ship in port. Otherwise, San Juan was a complete waste, arriving just in time to go to dinner and our show, and staying only until midnight. An evening port call may be great for those wishing to visit San Juan's nightlife, but it was completely pointless for parents traveling with children. ...
We love walking around this old city. There is so much to see and even with 3 cruise ships in port it didn't seem crowded. Old San Juan is completely walk-able and for those with mobility issues or small children there is a free pubic bus to take you around to all the main sites. ...
