We went ashore and walked about the old city within the walls. Lots to see. Plenty of good places to eat. Then took a hop on hop off bus round the new town, beach hotels etc and up to the top to the Roman ruins. A good excursion, let us see all of the city. ...

Easy place to explore - the walled city was steps from the ship. We walked around Old Town. To avoid the crowds and for the best views of fortifications, battlements, and walls, walk on the outside of Old Town in the moat (the moat doesn't have water; instead, it has green grass and paths through them).
