Love Mexico. Did a taxi ride in a van with another person that we booked off the ship when we walked off. $35 pp. Suppose to be 2 hours but was 4 hours. Good location - there's a mall right outside the port. There's also a Walmart next to that in case you need any supplies. Also Uber works great. It cost about $8 to get Muertos beach and if you want to go the the Predator site at Eden then it's about $15. Great value - forget paying the high prices for an excursion! Just grab an Uber! ...

This is not a port that you can walk off and then "walk around town." It is about 10 minutes by taxi/shuttle to touristy area and is way to far to just walk off and around. Very disorganized about taxis/shuttles. Taxi (share) ride is about $4-$5 USD per person (not per vehicle, per person)...and you share with others to similar destination (usually boardwalk area).
