We spent the day before our cruise, as well as the day after our cruise, exploring New Orleans. Cafe du Monde, beignets, French Quarter, second line parades (at least 3!) and, the WWII Museum. We ate red beans and rice, boudin balls and remoulade, gumbo and more! We even made our way to a quirky little comedy club that turned out to be some sort of training venue for comedians...The New Movement. ...

Left and returned from New Orleans. Really need more time there. The cruise added an included tour. The World War II museum. Definitely a must see place. Downside, we only had two hours there. Not enough time. Some on tour opted to get back to the ship on their own and were able to stay at the museum longer. The other included tour was Oak Alley plantation. We were told this was nice. ...
