Debauchery at it's peak I suppose. We're not huge drinkers although people certainly did over indulge! We went to a daytime parade which was nice & family friendly - be prepared for crowds and long wait times and everything runs late. Also did a night time parade where the debauchery comes to life. This is a great city to visit. Don't just take a bus tour...spend at least three days exploring by foot and the hop-on/hop-off (a three day pass includes two guided tours). The city is filled with history, the restaurants are fantastic, and the music is spectacular. What's not to like in New Orleans? Before we boarded the ship, we toured the WWII Museum; you really need 3 days to do that place justice, but it is excellent!
