Used Can't Be Missed Tours. (Smaller excursion is way to go) Had excellent guide who pointed out highlights, recommended lunch spot and gave a fascinating tour of Pompei. Was super helpful and encouraging as my 80-year-old mom kept up with group on our walk through the ruins. ...
We just walked around different areas of the city (I was born here and made the trek to the neighborhood I lived in as an infant!). The energy level is a bit frantic and you should be careful where you go, but overall a very vibrant city. ...
We went to Pompeii. TIP! Those people walking around asking if you want a guide are OK! But listen to them. Our guide was offering a tour for up to ten people for 140 Es. She had two, we were 3 more, and I turned around to someone speaking English behind me and asked if they wanted to go-in with us (there were 4 of them, making 9). We all said yes. We divided the fee, paid for our tickets (we paid ...
We hired a private driver to take us to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. We had a wonderful lunch where the kids got to make their own pizzas and they had the best sangria with fresh peaches! In Amalfi, we got to see a bride making her way up the steps of the church. ...

Been in Naples several times and got of at the port to look round the shops but nothing had changed so go back on board in time for lunch. ...
Would give the day 10 stars if possible. Toured Capri and Anacapri and got to go into the Blue Grotto. Wish I could have stayed longer. Spend more time in Anacapri and take the chair lift to the top. ...
We took the 151 bus to the train station and took the Circumvesuviana to Pompeii Scavi. After our visit, we took the Circumvesuviana to Ercolano Scavi to see Herculaneum. Both towns have 2 stops -- Scavi is where the excavations are. Do Pompeii in the morning as it gets very crowded and tends to be hotter tha Herculaneum. ...
Took an excursion through World Tours, to see Capri and Pompeii. Was awful. Waited over an hour, standing in hot sun, for people from another ship who never showed up. Then hurried through Pompeii in the afternoon when it was too hot & kept being handed off to different guides. Only saw a tiny part of the ruins. No opportunity to even buy a postcard. Capri in the late morning was also ...
