Thought the shuttle bus would take us into the town for some shopping. It only dropped us off at the port gate. Only 'shopping' was for live and dead fish! Dead animal carcasses. Fruits and vegetables. It was a long, hot and sweaty walk into any kind of half-way interesting area. Most people just got back on the bus and went back to the ship. ...

We were excited to be in a new country - it was the next port after Dubai, and we just did our own walking tour along the corniche to the interesting Souk. It was incredibly hot, it took a long time to get off the ship because there were limited shuttles, and most people couldn't wait to get back to air con. It was not such a great Port really, but hopefully they will improve access for ship ...
