I was surprised about this city. I'd heard horror stories about it, especially the most interesting part, the old harbor. This used to be an area that you wouldn't go even during the day, but apparently it has been cleaned up completely. We took the cruise ship shuttle (Costa €10.95 per person) to the city centre. The port do a free one but it is a bit of a hike from the ship. The Costa one drops you off at the edge of the port (about a 10 min walk to the shopping area). Overall well worth a visit to the city. ...
