Took the hop on hop off. DONT. if you wish to see the old city at the top of the hill then grab a taxi. The hop on bus took us through the country first, where we saw farmers plwoing fields and then got stuck in traffic jams and behind street cleaning crews. Wished we would have just gone straight to the old town by taxi. Very disappointed. The folks at the pier selling the tickets for the ...

Valletta is a very charming city. There are good views from higher elevations and lots of charming little shops and cafes nearby. If you're a beer lover, visit The Beer Cave for more than 100 different brews from around the world that you can enjoy inside a 450-year-old dungeon-like space. Very cool. ...

Eclipse docked on the far end of the Grand Harbor. To cut down on long walks/cab rides, Celebrity offered complimentary water taxis across the harbor. Five ships in port that day meant the elevator to the Barrakka Gardens was out of the question due to lines. If you're not fit, book an excursion- a lot of steps to get to the city level. St. John's Co Cathedral was stunning, as was the sail away ...

We loved Malta. The Hop on Hop Off Bus took us all around the island. We stopped at the Blue Grotto and took boat ride into the caves. It was an exciting and beautiful trip. Half our group stayed for sunbathing and lunch and the rest continued the island tour. ...
