We took the train from London direct on an express train to Harwich. The train stopped within half block of the terminal. I've given this a poor as there are stairs when you get off the train, and can be very difficult for those with heavy luggage. It's all steps, there are no ramps. Luggage was checked in outside the terminal as we walked through the gate. ...

Harwich is an industrial port for the most part and is far away from the airports and London. It is really a burden to travel there to sail. It took us four hours to get there because of traffic and it was 2.5 hours to Heathrow. ...

HARWICH: Harwich Port is convenient to reach from London. Trains leave hourly from Liverpool Street station, costing only 8 GBP each way. One can buy tickets online. I used thetrainline dot com for best prices.
