This place was a mess. We did not dock at the larger port, and the smaller port could not accomodate us. We stood by the buses for 45 minutes (while they were on and we had to stand behind them and inhale fumes). We boarded the bus and went to a waterfall that you had to climb up. Everyone held hands and climbed a slippery waterfall. In the US, they would have been sued out of business. People ...
Least favorite port. You WILL be hounded by vendors and people trying to sell you a tour or a taxi... Not very clean and you may feel a little unsafe if you never been there before. I'd recommend doing a cruise-sanctioned excursion and leave the port and town alone. ...
Puerto Seco Beach excursion. Beautiful, quiet, scenic. Great beach lounge chairs. Sea was great for swimming. Pool was gigantic and comfortable for swimming. Free lunch was ok, nothing great. Just jerk chicken, fried fish, salad and rice. Would have preferred not to leave the beach early to go shopping (which was near the pier, crowded, small and over priced). ...
