Istanbul: We used Daily Istanbul Tours for the first day which included a private van, driver and guide. It worked fine. We saw the Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia, Cistern and walked through modern Istanbul. Felt very safe at all times. Istanbul has very young population, very busy city and port. I didn't care for the Turkish coffee.
