We went to Akaka Falls and it was very beautiful. The ship staff recommended Nanimou (I believe I spelled that wrong), which they said had trees and waterfalls. We got into a taxi in which the driver recommended Akaka falls. She explained why Akaka falls was better than Nanimou, and I honestly kind of got angry at the ship staff. You can take the Hoppa on Hoppa off right at the port right after the port gates for about $20 and includes a route of the island and a separate beach route also. Best food of the trip came from Suisan a local hot spot servicing the best ahi poke bowl. It’s the on route also. ...
