Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Pride

Walked down the beach to Jack's Shack where we tipped some guy $20 for 8 beach chairs and sat & swam there all day and bought $4 Turk's Head beers (really good!) and ate the best Jerked Chicken and Conch Fritters I've ever had. By walking to basically the last business along the beach next to the ship you escape the crowds. I don't think 75% of our cruise ship could have walked 200 yds. GREAT ...

We were unable to get to Gibbs Cay due to weather, so we stayed on the beach right off the port. Reminded me of a highly commercialized Florida beach. On the plus side- tons of shade, free beach chairs, plenty of food and drink choices, the people were super friendly and went out of their way to help you. We loved the welcome area as it had the best shopping. We spent the most time there. ...

We hung out on the beach right at the port. There are lots of chairs, the green umbrellas are free for cruise passengers, the others are about $25, still a good deal. I suggest to get off as soon as you can and grab the free ones. There is also a pool by Margaritaville with music and activities which is also nice, maybe better. I wasn't overly impressed with the beach. Very crowded as it ...

We enjoy Grand Turk. We have been to the port 3 times. The beach area and pool are right when you get off. There are free chairs to use. The drinks and food are a little expensive. But you are on vacation. LOL ...

This was our fifth time visiting Grand Turk. We don't stay at the beach at Margariatville as we find it too crowded and the water isn't nearly as nice as it is farther down the beach. We walk down to Jack's Shack, about a 15 minute walk. Much better swimming and Jack and Janet pour a mean rum punch. ...
