I am surprised we are tendering here. I thought the island was a tax haven for money...the port should be developed for ships to dock. ...

Just rented a Wave Runner through Discount Excursions. Lady at kiosk should have told me which part of 7.5-mile Beach I needed to go to. Wound up walking 45 minutes to correct place. Beach is fantastic. Clear blue water. One of the better beaches I have been to in the Caribbean. ...

Great stop....did our own walking tour. Plenty of less than expensive tours from the pier. One of the cheapest stops in the Caribbean for booze. Huge bottle of Cointreau was only $25, The largest bottle here is about 1/3 less in size and cost $55 here in the land of high taxes. Great port, friendly people ...absolute minimum of beggers and hawkers. ...

We caught one of the first tenders as there were 6 ships in port that day due to all the reshuffling caused by the hurricanes. We took a taxi to Royal Palm Beach Club on 7 Mile Beach. Thankfully it was a short ride as we were packed like sardines in the van. It is $4 per person each way. The ride to Royal Palm took 10 minutes but the ride back to the ship was 25 minutes due to traffic. Grand ...

We found a scooter rental shop, just outside the port and to the left, and rented a scooter for $60 U.S./three hours. We rode out into the country and had a blast, just driving around. The traffic was easy and driving on the left was fun for this American. We would have any number of restaurants and shops along the way by simply taking a taxi. We returned in time to eat local foods during their ...
