Probably the best port in the cruise. If you can, climb the Mediterranean Steps to the top of the rock..walk to the other end and walk down into town. ...

We had already visited Gibralter on a sunny day, thank goodness, as it was very cloudy and dismal on this visit. We stayed around town instead of taking the cable car to the top of the mountain as it looked as if it would be wet and impossible to see the surrounds. ...

We went to the top on foot from the port. It is steep, so you must have physics to be able to walk long steep distance. We went all the way and meet apes and took the mediterranean steps on the way. It is a nice view, but you must be able to walk in stairs and uneven ground. Downtown Gibraltar, mail str you will find stores and pubs. Great for cruise stop during day. ...

Gibraltar was one of our favorite stops. We bought a ticket on the cable car online and arrived at 8:30 AM. I believe there is enough time to hike to the top, but we wanted the cable car experience. Please keep in ...

Good for shopping and duty free goods , was going to go up the rock in the cable car but overcast weather would have prevented a good view. Unable to go later in the day since we had to be back on board by 2.00pm ...
