Galveston has a lot to offer for a pre- or post-cruise stay. Great restaurants, fun venues, lots of shopping. Just don't hold the beach or the port against her. She's an old gal and not that glamorous. More of a working port that knows how to have a good time. ...

No control of traffic flow. Have two cruise terminals using one entrance. No seperation of people getting on or off. Porters are more interested in getting luggage off of busses than being available to those driving. No organization to the luggage drop off.
