We traveled to Ft. Lauderdale by Amtrak (D/W doesn’t like to fly) and then stayed at the Rodeway Inn Airport/Cruiseport. Simple to get to and they had a shuttle to the ship Saturday morning. Nice clean room. There is a place to get a bite to eat. Dinner was really hard to take. What can you do to a hamburger? Let’s just say breakfast was much better. Falmouth Jamaica is a port built for Royal Caribbean. They have shops to shop at. Not cheap ones. If you do not purchase an excursion there is no where to go. The taxi to Montego bay is $50 each way. or $20 each on a shuttle. But no one wanted to go so we couldn't go. So hot and just wanted to go to a beach. None near by.
