The Leaning Tower is on the included tour. I had NO IDEA there was so much more in that plaza. Cathedral, Baptistry & Holy field (marble structure with graves). Free to view all form outside. Free to go in cathedral. A 10 euro ticket that you can purchase there gets you inside everywhere except to climb the Tower (that’s extra 20 E). The 10E was very worth it to see the Baptistry (where Galileo ...

This was more a problem with the shore excursion team is they knew that was a marathon going on in Florence that day. Tour guide really was rushed and I don’t really think cared about the passengers. Horrible day in Florence everything was shut down including churches restaurant Street alleyways you name it for The entire visit. General manager is well aware and yet did nothing. locals in Florence ...

Livorno was a good size port with a lot of tour options from the port facilities. The drive to Florence was definitely long, but was well worth it as it was our first time visiting. We did an ItalyTours tour with a walking guide in Florence, and it was great. We roamed the cities, enjoyed the architecture and outdoor art, walked around the indoor market, and bought some leather goods. I'm glad we ...

My wife and I enjoyed the shore excursion that visited various sites (towns/villages) in the Tuscany area. We enjoyed seeing the Tuscan countryside and vineyards. The trip included a visit to a winery for a full wine tasting and lunch. It was a great experience and in our opinion a much better alternative to a long bus ride to Florence. ...

We booked a Pisa and Florence tour on our own. Pisa was jammed with visitors. We arrived early - so that was good. If you want to go into and up the tower, get your tickets ASAP. We just happened to be in the baptistery when they unexpectedly closed the doors and a staff person sang the most beautiful aria! Florence: my bad. We were there on a Monday when museums are closed. A beautiful ...

Another lovely place with too little time to explore. But we knew that, so just enjoyed the day. I've seen the statue of David before - wish that my traveling companion (sister) could have seen him too. Gorgeous architecture! ...

Florence was very crowded and we just walked by historical sites and did not go in any. The trip to Pisa was well worth it and a great experience. From were we docked, Florence was about 1-1.5 hours away. I did not care for Livorno. It was hard to get around and I got lost. ...
