First of all, be very wary of the taxi drivers who hang around the shops inside the pier area. We were looking for a ride into town, and the guy we spoke to said it was "very far" and quoted us 30USD. Cozumel is a fun port. Greatly resent being forced to march through the Dufry duty-free shop in order to get to the port village. You can avoid it by veering to the left through the "crew area."
