Docks in the city area and it is short way to see Napoleons apartment, shopping and to visitt the beach. The water are crystal clear. ...

We were in Ajaccio on a rainy Sunday. Although there was a bustling local food market in the central square, almost all the shops were closed. We took the yellow bus tour of the city (cost 8 Euros), which went out to the Sanguinaire islands. The tour lasts about an hour and gives you a good overview of the city and the area near by.. We were not all that impressed by what we saw - the beaches ...

Docked in the north (Ille Rousse but not available on drop down). Hired a car of the day and drove around the beautiful mountains and villages in the area, and keeping well ahead of the fleet of tour buses. Finished in Calvi and then to the boat. Great day and away from the tourist crowds in buses. Picked up and dropped off by the company on the dock side. Euro 65 for the day plus petrol. ...

Famous for the Napoleon connection, this place is pleasant enough. We docked adjacent to the town and just wandered. ...
