The port is a 45 min US$25 shuttle ride to the central city. We previously lived in Brisbane, so simply spent a few hours running errands and having lunch at South Bank. ...

Took the free shuttle to downtown Brisbane from the port and then walked Queen Street mall to the free Cityhopper ferry that goes along the Brisbane river. After traveling the entire length of the ferry run, we got off at Eagle Street Pier and enjoyed lunch before walking back to the shuttle stop opposite Central (train) Station. A delightful day, Also, we cleared Australian customs here as it ...

Brisbane is a great city but parking out at the cargo wharf is very disappointing. Can't be helped due to the size of the ship but middle of nowhere, no public transport and Princess gouging for shuttle bus. ...

Been too many times so why bother. Large ships dock at Port of Brisbane’s Multi-User Terminal (FI Grain) “Grain Wharf” – nothing there, no public transport or any amenities nearby and you are prevented from leaving the port(vehicle access only) unless you buy a Princess Shuttle ticket to City for $25 or you have arranged private car to pick you up. No taxis were on site when we left the terminal. ...
