I probably shouldn't give this one star since that rating is for the excursion and not the port. We took the "Norway in a Nutshell" excursion that I described as a disaster in the main review. Bergen was supposed to be the highlight port of our cruise and it turned out to be the worst. ...

Bergen is a great small seaport. We did a walking tour that showed us most of the town including the fishmarket, the hanseatic village, and the funicular ride to Mt. Floyen which had great views of the town and our ship and goats to pet at the top! It was a morning tour so there was plenty of time after for lunch in a local restaurant or at the fish market (whale available!!) and shopping ...
