the local cab drivers and tour guides are like a pack of lions moving in for the kill if you show any interest in a tour they literally were fighting over us going with them on a tour 12 of us and prices ranged widely we made the mistake of not booking on the ship and had to go back to the ship to get away from them i have been all over the Caribean and have never seen it this bad! We took a taxi to Darkwood Beach. It took about 25 minutes. It’s on the Caribbean side and the water is absolutely stunning. Our kids had a blast playing in the waves. However if you are looking to snorkel the snorkeling isn’t great. Have a bar, restaurant and fresh water shower on site. ...
