Small port with a few shops, long promenade along the sea front with small beach for swimming and snorkeling close to the port. Very friendly and relaxed environment.
We took a tour to Nine Miles and Dunn's River Falls which was very enjoyable. On our tour we did drive through some very poor areas where we were pleased we were accompanied by our guide who warned us what to expect in the various places. Port area around ship a little intimidating and visitors didn't tend to wander far from the ship secured area.
A new port area adjacent to port with shops, bars etc together with large free swimming pool. Large beach also adjacent with free sunbeds. Very relaxed environment.
Port within walking distance of centre with many shops located on two main streets close to a long promenade by a long beach with sunbeds. Plenty to occupy a day without having to go on an excursion.Very friendly and relaxed environment.
Ship docks right next to the town. Area of stalls adjacent to port and kept secure by guards. No beaches and not a lot to see other than the tours to the rain forests which are worth doing.
