2 out of 5. Vast difference since we were there a few years ago. BBQ lunch was absolutely dreadful. Snorkeling was awful, with very little sea life. We were told that most of the coral is now dead due to swimmers' sunscreen. No coral = no fish. Many more of the "cabanas" now too detract from the island's natural beauty. Beach was clean.
We didn't take an excursion but instead went to Boca Catalina beach for snorkeling. According to the locals that's the best place, and it didn't disappoint. Abundant fish, coral...just beautiful. Crystal clear water. Took the public transportation bus back to the ship - $2.35 each. Nice and laid back.
