Great beaches, excellent kids facilities and well worth it to rent the clam shell for some shade as the sun came out and this being the 1st day in the sun after a long Washington winter, shade was nice! The buffet food wasn't as good as the burgers and dogs on the ship so we waited to eat once we re boarded. I will say that we didn't have to wait in a tender line at all either which was fairly impressive as the ship was full and lots of people were heading out at the same time.
Just wandered around town on the Dutch side. It's pretty typical, very commercialized and all about sales. One nice thing is the beach and the many good bars nearby. We did find the McDonalds of course, with our 5 year old's help and they did offer $1 ice cream cones:)
Best beaches on the Eastern Caribbean trip. We spent the afternoon here after a brief taxi ride into town. I'd skip town next time and just relax at the beach!
