Imperial Palace was incredibly crowded and we spent most of the time waiting for the group to join the guide who got very flustered at trying not to lose any of a group of 34 people together in the crowds.
River Cruise Rating:
The river cruise was enjoyable and the lunch was very good. Did not enjoy the 2 hour each way coach journey though.
We couldnt face the 4 hour return trip to Ho Chi Minh City so we went to Vung Tau in a taxi - very expensive and we had to wait over an hour for a taxi to turn up and we had to find other people to join us. Vung Tau is dirty and there is very little to do or see apart from the beach. Avoid the market - it is horrible. The only places to eat are at the seafront, there is nothing in the town
