We went on the River Tubing tour in Grenada. Had a lot of fun. It was their dry season, so the river wasn't as high as it could be. Would have been more fun if there was more water. Nothing the tour people could do about that. Just luck of the draw. Still we had a good time.
We did the Kayaking and Snorkel Adventure in St. Vincent. This was a great tour. Due to high seas, we couldn't go into the bat cave. This was a disappointment to us, but we fully appreciated that the tour guys had our safety as their first priority. People should note that this is an active tour as you will be kayaking in open sea. There is no guarantee that the sea will be calm. We couldn't understand why one couple signed up for it, as it was well documented by Thomson Dream folks that it was an active tour. Thankfully, the tour operators also had a small boat that was with the group at all times, and the couple were put on board the boat from the very start. That way they still were able to get to the beach where we went snorkeling.
We went on the Snuba Adventure & Pigeon Island Tour. Had a really great time. We were given a full briefing on how to use the equipment - including practicing using the equipment in the shallow water of the shore. There was one guide per every 4 people. Our lady took really great care of her charges in the water. We got approximately 40 minutes in the water and then had time to explore Fort Rodney before it was time to get back on the bus and go back to the ship.
Barbados was the start and end of the cruise and is home for us. So on one hand it was nice to see our Port, but we really wish we could have stayed on board for longer.
