We had a wonderful tour in Kerala visiting a model traditional village with demonstrations of traditional ways of fishing, use of coconuts and palms, pottery making, rope making, Chinese fishing nets, etc.
We spent 4 days in Dubai prior to our cruise and really enjoyed it. We took the Hop On/Hop Off bus which gave us a good orientation. We loved the souks--textile, gold and spice, and enjoyed the water taxis and the museum.
