We flew into FLL airport which was cheaper, and a nice airport. However consider bus/taxi fare if flying into FLL and leaving from Miami port too. If you don't care where you lay your head for the night just get a cheap room. We did and got a room at Days Inn at the airport, yuck, but we got a good nights sleep seeing we arrived at 11pm anyhow. They did provide transportation from airport but not to port of Miami. So I booked transportation to port of Miami with www.easyespress.biz. It cost $113.00 RT for 3 of us and that included gratuity. They are very reliable and costs less than a taxi fare. They dropped us off right at the port by our ship. Porters there take your luggage (which should already be tagged with your baggage tags you print online) Then we went inside to prepare for embarkation. This was easy, not a line like I expected and we showed our passports and entered our booking numbers in a Kiosk then went to pick up our sail and sign cards. These you will keep with you all throughout the cruise so maybe have a lanyard or something to carry it with you. Lanyards are for sale in the gift shop on board too.
