Incredible Wildlife and very friendly people. A lot of recent history. Wild and windswept reminiscent of the West Country moors or the Scottish Highlands. Would like to visit again to see more.
Quite the frontier town at the end of the world!!. Expensive as everything has to be shipped in.
We took a tour through the Beagle Channel and the Tierra Del Fuego National Park. Again lots of wildlife and very scenic. Well worth the time and cost.
We stayed overnight in Buenos Airies which is a vibrant and edgy city. You have to be careful not to go out with valuables. It is very colourful and a city tour is well worth taking.
A very clean and vibrant city with beautiful Spanish colonial buildings. We took a tour that centrered on the history of the Graf Spree which was interesting. It also gave us the highlights of the city. Our guide was particularly knowledgeable about the wartime history though not so good with questions outside that area. There appeared to be some good beaches in the area of the port though we did not use them.
