Maybe if shopping is your only reason. There is just not much there. Luckily at the last minute they offered a full day to Panama City, old and new and one of the locks if the Panama Canal. So a rainy ride through the rainforest, what else would you expect, a lovely time in the old city with the sun shining, great Costa Rican handicrafts along with wonderful products from the San Blas Islands. Very work getting away from the ugly port of Colon.
The snorkeling was Very ordinary but the ride across the island was almost as good as a sightseeing trip and the cruise around the bay looking a fantastic homes was worth the trip. Curacao was just as nice as always. Been many times and though I do not shop anymore the dock area is great with all the colorful building and they still have the banana boats but even more so.
