the island is lovely. The coach driver gave us some history and an impromptu tour of the island on the way to the french side.

The area we boarded the boat was lovely. Below deck the sub was a bit scruffy and we really didnt see anything that amazing to be honest.

The town was jam packed as we were one of 5 ships in dock that day.

We were getting hounded to buy diamonds and jewellery every step of the way.

The main beach had rental chairs which were all full to the point you couldnt see any sand on the shoreline!

Would love to go back and visit the island more it was lovely.

We walked to the skyride.

The cable cars were crammed with 8 to a car which is intimate to say the least!

The top of the ride you get out and there is a self proclaimed 'nature reserve'.

the nature consisted of 2 peacocks, 2 goats, 2 parrots in a cage and 2 ferrets in an empty cage with no water or food or bedding? a bit horrid really.

The view is good though. There is also a bar and a couple of souvenir shops.

The wristband does work all day if you wanted to go back up later.

All in all good for views but a bit run down.

Next to the dock is an independantly run butterly farm which isnt on any excursion list. It is lovely, informative, reasonably priced gifts that are nicer than the average tourist rubbish. It also has a parrot show that is hillarious! Well worth a visit.

Getting back on the boat was a bit more difficult as people cant read the huge signs on the way out saying they need their passports and then the whole queue is held up while one party member has to board the ship and get them! Geniuses!

decided to have a day on a peaceful ship and use the top deck and pool without all the noise and drinking games going on!

It looked like a nice place though!!

We met in the theatre and had a seperate exit route to walk offs. was very easy, after we got to the theatre!

The easy walk off wasnt really working as there were so many participants. The queues snaked around the casino and other areas for miles until the queues from both gangways met and merged! then chaos followed!

everglades was nice but we chose the coldest day ever to go!

not much alligator activity as they dont like the cold!

airboat was really good though.

The cafe was overpriced rubbish. They also take your picture on the way off the boat which is fine but heaven help you if you dont want to buy one! They actually boarded our coach to HUNT down some other people that hadnt bought their picture and they werent leaving until they did!!
