We got there a day early in order to recover from jetlag, so took the city bus tour and explored more on foot for day one of the cruise. The city itself is very unique--Buda (the old city) and Pest located on two sides of the river. What we found most interesting was the cultural history, it having been occupied by Mongols, Turks and Prussians over the years. It's quite beautiful and romantic.
