We enjoy walking around this town, lots of nice little shops. The beach is really set up nice here also. Easy to get chairs umbrellas and beverages at reasonable prices.
Went there on a Sunday and just about everything was closed. Not sure that I would bother to go back anyways. The people of the island are not friendly at all. It is a hassle to spend money and I'm not a fan of spending my money were they don't want to bother with you.
Enjoyed this island. Rented at taxi and went to Emerald Pool in the rain forest and to the Botanical Gardens. Our taxi driver "Mr. Sweetness" made our day very enjoyable. He went out of his way to make our experience on the island everything we wanted it to be.
We ate lunch at Glady's Diner that was recommended by some locals. It was excellent. Highly recommend the mango coladas. We didn't enjoy walking around the town as much as on other islands because we felt harassed by all the jewelry store employees even out on the streets. They were too pushy and interfering.
