This is where we got on the ship and off- Find this port very easy for embarkment and debarkment. Rented a car before and after cruise--cheaper than the shuttle for 4 people and allowed us to tour around Miami and Ft Lauderdale.
We did the butterfly farm excursion. Was not too impressed with this island. NEver expected the poverty we saw and we found the people in the markets unfriendly and rude. You would think that the tourism industry is what feeds them, they would not be rude. No plans to go back to this island again.
Jeep Excursion was a great way to see the island. Our guide was great. The scenery is paradise here--the excursion included some time at a beach that was by far the best swimming I have ever experienced.
WOW!!!! Our favourite port- What a view when you come in to the dock. We did snorkeling off of Paradise Island-well worth it. We plan on going back to Nassau for vacation to stay at the Atlantis Resort.
