90 minute drive from port to town and on return. A beautiful city with magnificent churches, art and sights. Great for a walking tour. Good for leather goods and jewelry.
Walked from the ship to the cliff and up top to the castle - take the elevator as the steps go on forever. Walked around the narrow streets and alleys with small shops and restaurants. Look for the Monaco Chocolatiere and treat yourself to a piece of chocolate made for the Prince & Princess.
Took a bus tour and aside from the church on the hill, which provided an incredible view of the city and harbor, I wouldn't bother again. My least favorite city.
We did a guided walking tour of the markets - beautiful vegetables, fish and meat - and churches. Stopped into a sidewalk cafe for a coffee and croissant.
A beautiful resort island with magnificent shopping areas - could have done some serious shopping here. Took the 100 year old train up to the mountain village of Soller. Quaint little village for lunch and then a buss ride back down the mountain.
Took the "in & out" bus and then walked to the cable car (gondola) terminal to ride to the top of the mountain. Incomparable views of the city and port. Well worth the ticket.
