Beautiful city, you can do a tour through the presidential palace, although Spanish, you get an English map. 3 cruisers were apparently mugged on Florida street however, so be careful. Lots to see and do and seeing a Tango show is a must.

Montevideo

Very boring stop, all the tours seemed to drop you off at 4 different sculptures then a pretty overlook then back to the port, was a weekend so almost nobody around at all.

Ushuaia

Town was very beautiful, with mountains everywhere, tour was a view of a lake and of the strait. After the tour we went to the Prison museum/Antarctic museum. Rushed stop but very nice.

Punta Arenas

If you buy trinkets we could only find them at the market in the downtown area. our tour was the Magdalena Penguins, they were so cute, and so many of them, even got to see some babies, easily the highlight of our trip.

Puerto Montt

We really didn't spend any time in Puerto Montt our tour took us to 2 volcanoes a Llama farm, and a nice waterfall. We took the chairlift up to the halfway point of Osorno volcano which had great views. Had lunch in a tiny hotel with a great view of the Mt.

Santiago (Valparaiso)

lots to see and do in Santiago, wish we had more time here, completely recommend taking the ship, shore excursion from Valparaiso to Vina Del Mar, then to Santiago, beautiful and very informative, dropped us off at the Sheraton, which was 8min taxi ride to our hotel.
