We took the tour of the fort and old town. The fort was interesting and our guide was well informed on his country. The day was hot and humid with a little rain. You should be able to walk up hill for this tour. We found it easy but several folk's had a hard time with all the walking. The old town was very nice, it would of been nice to do some shopping in the old town. They took us to some shopping outside of the old town and then we headed to the new town which was not as nice to me as the old town.
Costa Rica was my favorite port. We took the hike in the rain forest and a trip to the botanical gardens which were beautiful. Our guide was Alexander and he was wonderful at telling us about all the nature and wild life in Costa Rica. We had a wonderful lunch overlooking the gardens that was included. I was pleased to see the Monkeys, crocodiles, toucan birds, parrots and so many pretty flowers. It was a wonderful day spent in the rain forest and I highly recommend this tour.
