A lovely old walled town which was buzzing as several ships in on the day we arrived. Only problem we encountered was that not all the shops took euros and we didn't have the local currency.
Our last port of call was Venice where we stayed overnight so no hurry to return to the ship. This was the only port where we had to pay for transport from the ship and we (and most passengers) went by water taxi which wait where the ship was docked. The trip to St Marks Square took about 20mins but water taxis were very frequent.
A beautiful city with lots to see and do. Very busy here but we did get to go into St Marks and the scaffolding had been removed from the Palace.
