Never been before and very much looking forward to going. Found it boring and dirty..graffiti absolutely everywhere and it doesn't seem there was any attempt to clean it off. Could have benefited from employing street cleaners ! Traffic was horrendous.
Very interesting city at which we we docked overnight. I wasn't keen but my husband loved it. Very lively and lots to see, but sadly the Grand Bazaar was closed for a public holiday, but the Spice Market was good fun and the Turkish Delight is yummy !!
Lots of street sellers who do pester you a bit (which I don't like) but the Blue Mosque and the New Mosque was stunning and I really enjoyed seeing such wonderful sights. Would definitely go again to explore more - and buy even more Turkish Delight :-)
We stopped in Valletta. What a great port, very interesting docking maneuvers ! We chose to do a tour looking around the Island, which was intersting and informative.
