We encountered a long long traffic queue prior to getting into the Port but thankfully had left enough time to accommodate such delays. We had to remain in our car in a holding area for over one hour due to, alledgedly, another passenger leaving his Rolls Royce in the middle of the Concourse and proceeding to embark the ship according to the car parking attendant. Once inside the departure hall it was quick and efficient - we loved all the hanging Union Jacks which made us feel so patriotic. A sour faced and most unhelpful Luggage Label Desk Operator did nothing to uphold the Cunard brand - sadly a taste of what was to come for us.
