This was my wife's dream to see "Anne of Green Gables" country. It was all she expected. Charlottetown was easy to get around in and there was a visitors center close to the ship with internet access. Prince Edward Island is beautiful and friendly.
Wonderful provincial city easy to get around in with plenty of sights and shopping. We probably should have taken a walking tour and learned more about the history. We just walked around and enjoyed the charm of the city.
Again we were dock right in town and found it easy to get around to shop and sight see. Another beautiful city to visit. There was lots of local flavor and plenty of locals on the street (it was a Sat. and Labor Day weekend). Would go back in a minute.
This ended up being our favorite port. First because I'm a transplanted New Englander. Secondly because it was what you would picture it to be. It was picturesque, friendly, easy to get around in, touristy (that's not all that bad). We took a tour of Acadia NP, had blueberry muffins, blueberry ice cream, and blueberry soda. Wonderful last day of the cruise.
