Papeete - very disappointed. Very dirty and old and you could feel the eyes of the thieves targeting your bag!!! We would not get off the ship again if we were to have this on our itinerary again. Sorry but I have to be honest.
Beautiful. We had a fantastic day. We went on a picnic and were able to swim with the sharks and stingrays, snorkle, swim and had a bbq lunch provided. It was a fantastic day and Moorea is a beautiful place.
Bora Bora is another beautiful place but you need to get out onto the islands surrounding the main island. We stopped at a beautiful beach on our bus tour but were told we could only stay for 5 mins so no swimming. Hire a car and drive yourself around the island and stop at the beach for as long as you like.
Admittedly we had very bad weather as it rained both days. We did a bus tour that took us to the Maritime Museum, Underwater World and up to Mt. Eden. It was raining and cold but at least we got to see around Auckland.
