This is a tender port which is always a hassle. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stop. Highly recommend booking Oli's Trolley long tour. Had a very good lobster roll at West St. Cafe which is located just across the street from where you board the trolley.
Had a great tour with Portland Discovery Tours. We booked the trolley and boat tour. The best part of the tour was on the boat which vistied all of the lighthouses in the portland area by water.
In Halifax we booked a private tour with Your Cabs. Our driver was Jonathon Duru who has to the best tour guide we have ever booked. His knowledge of the history of Halifax, the Titanic and Peggy's Cove was outstanding.
